Golf Vacations

By: Ken Wilssens

Golf vacations are very popular with avid golfers. There are many vacation packages available to whatever part of the world you wish to visit. It doesn't mean that only the golfer will go on vacation with a group, but if that is what you want it can be arranged. Most of these packages have something for every member of the family as you stay at a luxury resort. There are plenty of activities for the children and for those who like to take in a little shopping when they are on holiday.

A golf trip to Ireland can get you days of fun in the sun golfing on some of the best greens in the world, such as Ballybunion or Rosses Point. As for places to stay you can stay at 5 star accommodations, such as a resort, a country estate, a hotel or a castle. It is all there waiting for you to tee off for an experience of a lifetime. Maybe Hawaii is more your style for your golf vacation. There are people that will set up the whole trip for you and leave you without a care. All you'll have to do is show up on the golf course. Of course in Hawaii, you are in danger of getting pulled off the greens to see Hawaii in all its beauty, so beware. Try South Africa where you can play golf on immaculate greens and also have the companionship of some of the wild animals that roam there.

Whatever your choice in that perfect golfing vacation, you will return with a smile on your face and a lift in your step and the memories will be with you forever. Maybe while you're away you'll get that hole in one that you've been hoping for, but you better have a camera ready so you have proof when your bragging to your buddies back home.
